It is with deep regret that we are having to shut the doors here in The Unicorn.
Like everyone in the hospitality industry, we have been hit very hard by escalating costs e.g. heating, lighting, gas and soaring food costs and brewery costs. Many of them are doubling, trebling and quadrupling and the margin is no longer there.
We feel this is the time for us to leave sadly and the decision has not been taken lightly. We are so sorry to all of our many wonderful and loyal customers who we will miss more than anything.
